Dr. Bryant has been tutoring math and physics for more than 20 years. She works with students from all over the country but most are from the Washington DC area., especially Fairfax County, Virginia. She has a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a PhD in Cognitive and Neurosciences. She researched the procedural memory system while at Georgetown University and the National Institutes of Health. This memory system underlies several learning circuits, including those associated with implicit processes such as mathematical skills. . Dr Bryant utilizes her knowledge of this brain system to identify and adapt to different learning styles and develop strategies for students to be successful in learning math and physics.
